The Founding
We met the way most warbands do — three strangers dying badly in the Chaos Sanctuary, each convinced the other two were the problem. By the fourth wipe the arguing stopped and the counting started: charges, cooldowns, breakpoints, who had the mana and who had the corpse. Sanctuary rewards arithmetic more than courage. We chose both.
The name came later, from an insult. A rival called us dopers — said nobody clears that fast without something in the blood. We took the word, filed it to an edge, and stamped it on the banner. Our stims are frame data and shared loot tables.
The Creed
“Hell is a logistics problem. Bring more torches.”
We don't gatekeep gear, we don't gatekeep knowledge, and we don't gatekeep the fun. A build posted in the Codex has saved more runs than any single rune ever will. Teach the newcomer the boss timings; they'll be the one holding the line when your ES pool pops on Hardcore.
Tenets of the Warband
- Share the drop. Loot that rots in a stash is loot wasted. Trade it, gift it, or roll for it — just move it.
- Post the numbers. “It feels fast” is a rumour. Breakpoints, resistances and skill allocation are doctrine.
- Nobody farms alone. Call the run on the Campaign board. Someone always answers.
- Hardcore deaths get a eulogy. Post it in Dispatches. We drink, we laugh, we reroll.
- Respect the ladder, fear the reset. The clock is always running. Check it before you invest.
The Standing Roll
Every season the banner goes up again and the roll is called. Amazons on the flanks, Barbarians in the throat of it, Sorceresses opening doors that shouldn't open, Necromancers turning the dead into payroll, Paladins holding auras like a held breath, Druids rewriting the weather, Assassins doing the quiet arithmetic of traps.
